Philippines - Land Administration and Management Project Feasibility Review and Project Design Document Preparation (FAD) Mission
Description of Project | AusAID has commissioned this Feasibility and Design (FAD) Mission in response to the formal request of the Government of the Philippines (GOP) for technical assistance from Australia to support the first phase of a long-term Land Administration and Management (LAM) Program. The Program is consistent with the GOP Medium Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) and is spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). It responds to a critical development problem caused by a lack of efficiency and equity in the land market. The FAD mission has two primary objectives: (i) thoroughly examine relevant AusAID reports and the WB/GOP LAM project background and design documentation, and have discussions with key stakeholders to confirm the feasibility and nature of AusAID co-finance assistance; and (ii) prepare a Project Description Document (PDD) and associated documentation, compliant with AusAID’s approval and tendering requirements. |
