Cadastral Survey for DENR-Region 08
Description of Project | The DENR mandated by the Government to conduct Surveying of all lands in order to determine the final area of all barangays of the entire municipality as basis in the computation of Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) and further to determine the area of individual parcels/claims for REGISTRATION or TITLING Purposes and accurate TAX COLLECTION. The project covered the survey of all lands, including foreshore land, except previously approved contiguous Group Settlement Survey, Friar Land estates and CARP/NR Surveys. Scope of Works included:
Obtaining other documents such as copies of sketch showing the names of claimants; whiteprint copies of cadastral maps with the names of the lot claimants which were posted in the bulletin board of barangay prior to submission of survey returns. |
Description of Services Provided |
Managed the entire track and activities of the cadastral survey for: San Policarpio Eastern Samar covering 13 barangays with an estimated area of 3,568 hectares; and Basey, Samar covering 2 barangays with an estimated area of 395 hectares. Monitored consulting deliverables and made appropriate adjustments in the specialists’ deployment or in the cadastral survey methodology if warranted.; and Oversaw the survey of all lands, including foreshore land, PLS and partial cadastral survey, Friar Land estates and CARP/NR survey as stated in the TOR Responsible for the submission of Project Management Plans, monthly narrative, statistical and graphical reports and maps. Established project control and political boundaries Conducted pulong-pulong amongst community members and secured permits before inventory and mapping |
